Why Polish Interpreting Is Its Own Category in the UK
Scheduled bookings confirm at short notice where an interpreter is free.
Polish carries specific compliance context that other pairs do not. We can put an NDA in place on request.

Polish Interpreter and Polish Translation Together
Interpreting and document translation are separate services with different production paths, but the same booking can carry both. The interpreter attends a solicitor consultation about a marriage certificate, a criminal record extract from the Krajowy Rejestr Karny, an academic transcript from a Polish university, or a Polish employer letter that needs to accompany a UKVI application. The document is then translated as a certified translation.
See Polish document translation for the paperwork side of a Polish file. Same rate card in sterling, invoiced together on request.
Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you book a Polish interpreter in the UK?
Urgent requests are confirmed as soon as an interpreter is free, subject to availability.
How much does a Polish interpreter cost in the UK?
Remote (phone or video) Polish interpreting starts at £49.99 per 30 minutes. On-site business or medical starts at £149.99 per hour. Court and legal work and police station attendance under PACE Code C are quote only. Final price confirmed before booking, based on language, location, date, duration and availability. Minimum booking applies, and travel outside the city is quoted separately. All rates fixed in writing before the assignment.
Do you handle Polish police station attendance under PACE?
On request, subject to availability. Police station work is quote only. PACE Code C requires an interpreter for a Polish-speaking detainee who does not follow English sufficiently to understand the caution, the reason for arrest or the questioning.
Do you cover Polish for NHS appointments across the UK?
Yes. Hospitals, maternity units, GP surgeries and outpatient clinics in person, subject to availability, and by phone or video for telehealth, discharge planning and short consultations.
Can the same Polish interpreter cover consultation and hearing?
Yes, and this is the strongly recommended pattern for any contested matter. Booking the same Polish interpreter for the private solicitor consultation and the later court or tribunal hearing removes vocabulary drift between what the client said in private and what is placed on the record under oath. Also more efficient: the interpreter already knows the file when the hearing arrives.
Do you also handle Polish document translation?
Yes. See our Polish translation page for certified Polish document translation (birth certificates, marriage certificates, criminal records, diplomas, medical records and legal documents). Same rate card in sterling, invoiced together if you need both interpreter and translated documents on one matter.
