Questions

FAQs

Requirements, timing, sworn and apostille, and how to send your documents.

What UKVI asks for

Every translation is prepared to the requirements UKVI publishes (Para 39B), with a signed statement of accuracy.

Delivery times

Within 24 hours for 1-3 pages, 36 hours for 4-6 pages and 48 hours for 7-10 pages. Prioritise for £59.99 per page and it is within 12 hours. A sworn translation adds 24 hours.

Sworn translation, notary, FCDO Apostille?

Sworn translation is only needed when an authority asks for it. If an authority asks for a sworn translation, choose Sworn (£99.99 per page): the translator's declaration of accuracy is sworn before a solicitor or Commissioner for Oaths. We do not provide or arrange apostilles (in the UK they are issued by the FCDO Legalisation Office). If your document needs an apostille, get it apostilled first and we translate it, including the apostille.

What's in a certified translation?

Signed statement of accuracy, translator name / contact, date, notation of every source seal and stamp, and formatting that mirrors the original.

Confidentiality

Documents are encrypted at rest and deleted 90 days after delivery, per our privacy notice.

Can I send phone photos or PDFs?

Yes — clear photos or PDFs are accepted for most civil documents. Make sure all corners, stamps and both sides (where applicable) are visible before you send.

Fastest way to get a quote
